We are specialists in the area of Mountaineering and Climbing books covering the UK, The Alps and all Mountains throughout the world!  In addition, we deal in Topography and Travel Books - again looking at  a variety of places. We are fairly diverse in this section and include travel, history, geography and even archeology as well as a little bit of fiction from writers associated with specific areas. 

Our enthusiasm and commitment is borne of our wish  to explore and enjoy the world, in a sound and environmentally sustainable way.  I have climbed and travelled across a number of areas myself.

By keeping this enthusiasm alive along with much experience of book dealing, the aim of Fountain Books is to provide you with the books that you are looking for, and that arrive with you swiftly and professionally.

Our website is kept up to date at all times and we aim to keep it alive with new items that we constantly are adding to our stock.

In all areas there are constantly new books being published and added to our stock.  We are firm supporters of the Boardman Tasker award and you can find the details about this award on our Links page.

We have also added a few Art books and Bibliographies to our stock recently.
